Steven O'Connor

President

Steven M. O’Connor founded PrinGroup Commercial in January 1, 2016. During his thriving 9 year career with a local commercial real estate firm, Steven doubled the amount of transactions and revenue for the firm.

After founding PrinGroup Commercial, Steven has focused on Commercial Leasing, Sales, Investments, & Build-to-Suits all within the Industrial Sector. He has over 10 years of commercial real estate experience and has completed over 300+ transactions. Steven has consistently been a top producer within the Houston commercial brokerage community while focusing in the Northwest & Southeast markets of Houston. His knowledge and expertise within the market allows him to provide his Clients with the information and guidance they need to help make their real estate acquisitions.

Steven graduated from Texas State University with a bachelor’s Degree in political science in 2007. During his time in San Marcos, he was an active member of the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization and also competed in collegiate golf. During his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife Jess & son Charlie and playing golf.

Marc Lawson

Managing Partner

Marc A. Lawson is the Managing Partner at PrinGroup Commercial who specializes in development and buyer/seller representation. Marc and Steven grew up together and Marc joined PrinGroup in 2016 when he moved back to Houston from New York.

Prior to joining PrinGroup, Marc co-founded Trident Group, a military veteran executive placement firm headquartered in New York City that specializes in placing the top echelon of transitioning military talent into Fortune 500 Companies and Wall Street where he is still a partner.

Before being stationed in New York City, he served five years as a Surface Warfare Officer in the Navy and had assignments in Virginia Beach and Bahrain.  During these assignments he went on three deployments to the Middle East and Africa leading ship boardings and anti-piracy operations.

Marc is originally from Sugar Land, Texas, and is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He was recruited to play football and holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.  Marc currently resides in the Heights with his wife Whitney Kuhn Lawson, Bolo their black Lab and Milo their King Charles Cavalier. He is an avid Texans, Rockets, Astros fan and Naval Academy football fan and enjoys traveling with his wife Whitney.

Jhakees Napolitano

Senior Vice President

Jhakees Napolitano joined PrinGroup Commercial in June 2022. Jhakees is an energetic bilingual (English/Spanish) executive with over 20 years of experience in Commercial Banking, with an entrepreneurship mindset. He has repeatedly proven his ability to provide solutions and deliver results and is known for his integrity and commitment to success.

Jhakees is originally from Venezuela with Italian and Lebanese roots. He moved to Houston in 2008 and has enjoyed the incredible diversity and hospitality of the people. Prior to being the Head of Business Banking for a local bank, he owned a successful Hispanic Newspaper and Media company for the Houston Metropolitan area.

Jhakees is also the founder for the first Spanish speaking BNI chapter in the US, BNI Latino; President Elect for The Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston (IHCH); founder and board member of the Houston Latin American Philharmonic, and volunteer in many other non-profit organizations.

His passion for helping others coupled with his business and banking expertise are his keys to bringing value when assisting buyers/sellers or landlords/tenants during a commercial real estate transaction.

C. William Byrd

Vice President

William Byrd joined PrinGroup Commercial in January 2024. Focusing on Leasing, Sales, Investments and Development within the Industrial Sector. He holds nearly five years of commercial real estate experience.

As Vice President at PrinGroup Commercial, he has leveraged his real estate experience and business background to provide high-quality service and solutions to clients in the industrial real estate market. He has nearly five years of experience in this field, working with diverse and reputable companies in the Houston area. He has developed strong skills in QuickBooks, interpersonal communication, and team building, which has enabled him to manage and execute complex transactions, negotiate favorable deals, and foster long-term relationships with clients and partners. He is passionate about industrial real estate and its potential to create value and impact for businesses and communities. He is always eager to learn new trends, technologies, and best practices in this dynamic and evolving industry. William is a dedicated fan of the Houston Texans, Houston Rockets, Houston Astros, and LSU Football. Presently, he follows these teams with unwavering enthusiasm, staying abreast of their performances and accomplishments. William takes great pride in supporting these renowned sports organizations and eagerly anticipates their continued success.

Andrew Coronado

Senior Associate

As Senior Associate at PrinGroup Commercial, Andrew supports clients with selling, buying and leasing. He prioritizes his customers’ wants and needs, and ensures each client’s satisfaction is met on every opportunity.

Andrew began his professional career in oil and gas, working his way up from field service, through applications engineering and ultimately managing business development efforts across the U.S. in a 200 million dollar market.

Andrew attended the University of North Texas, majoring in Music Performance with a concentration in Percussion. He enjoys live music, exercising, Houston’s diverse restaurant offering and playing golf with family and friends in his free time.

Tara Tippit

Sales/Marketing

Tara Tippit joined PrinGroup Commercial in November 2019. She has held various administrative roles in commercial graphics, oil and gas and corporate automotive servicing industry since 2005. Tara’s focus is providing superior service to her coworkers and clients alike, all the while maintaining professional but light hearted and friendly relationships. She graduated from Texas A&M University College Station in 2005 with a bachelor’s Degree in Leadership Management. There she met her husband, Justin, who is also a Texas A&M Alum. Together they have two children, Ella and Logan, and two dogs. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
